This is a short bit of placeholder text while I play with the blog posts for a little while, so I can get a full grasp of how it all works. This WILL be a short article about what a MUD is – or, “multi-user domain” (the D being subjective, depending on who you ask), which is basically an old style, text-based roleplaying game people would connect to back when the Internet was relatively young. Think like a group chat with automated dice and monsters and programming, with differnet rooms you could travel to – but, instead of WASD, you had north, south, west, east… and up and down. Because, vertical, right? 3D text. Go figure.
Anyhow, that’s what I’ve got for the moment. Let’s see what this looks like when it goes live…
